本品系從雞蛋黃提取精制而得，含磷脂酰膽堿（Phosphatidyl Choline）應(yīng)為72.0%～85.0%；含磷脂酰乙醇胺(Phosphatidyl ethanolamine)應(yīng)為5.0%～15.0%；含氮（N）應(yīng)為1.75～1.95%，含磷（P）應(yīng)為3.5～4.1%。

【性狀】本品為乳白色或淡黃色粉末狀或蠟狀固體，具有輕微的特臭，觸摸時(shí)有輕微滑膩感。
本品在氯仿、甲醇中極易溶解，在diethyl ether中易溶，在苯、石油醚中溶解，在丙酮中不溶，在水中幾乎不溶。
